I managed to injure my wrist 2 days ago and has been incapable of windsurfing ever since. However, i ll hopefully be back in the water at the end of July.

We had a good event running in the beach of Arte Vida, Rio Jara, and Las Dunas: "Tarifa Classic" organized from Club Awita, took place from the 1 to the 4th of May (just 3 days after i came back from Hawaii. After a double elimination, i finished 4th in freestyle after loosing in semi final against catalan guy Alex Sanhelly when most of people in the beach thought i was winning: Anyway, that is competition, but i sailed great and i know i can defeat anybody in Spain when i am on fire!! Good surprise came from the slalom where i made 6th and won a semi final without any previous experience in it...I definitly have to traine more slalom in the future! Eric Sanhelly finally won the freestyle, and Andreas Abendroth the slalom.

It has been hard for me to be back in cold water and strong wind after warm Carribean weather. Because of the Air France, the worst company ever, i could not have my equipment on time for the two contests, and that did not made my job easy! Thanks to B3 i finaly did the competitions with loaned material, but it was definitly not the same! Tarifa wind festival was ok for me with a freewave contest and 25 knots. I had some really good heats with real good action and most of my moves landed. Then came the semi final where i was sure i made it but the judges (who did not saw one of my move) decided that i was out .Anyway, i finished 5th, and i have some nice pics and videos you can already check on www.tarifawindsurfingfestival.es or www.windtarifa.com. Belgium guy Steven Van Brockeorem won this contest.National wave championship did not go very well : I could not find any good waves on my second heat and i went out very early. Hello everybody. I have been traveling around San Martin Island during one month now, and I can tell you that i already had some really good surfing and wavesailing. Thanks to hot local Jean Seb Lavocat, my friends Thomas, Stefus and myself discovered some perfect spots like Wilderness, the bowl, Galion reef, Caye verte... Toiny and Turtle in San Barthelemy, and more!! Imagine green and blue warm water with good reef breaks you share with your friends. Imagine wind between 16 and 26 knots, people smiling, parties everywhere and strong rhum. It look like paradise. Check some of the many great pics from our photographer Thomas Roulin. Playa Chica has been working perfectly lately with good swells from Mediteranean.I could improve the new 2008 Maui sails and F2 wave boards in good conditions. Everything is great: More control, more power, easier, lighter, i realy feel i have the right staff this year. have a look to the pics!

That´s a really good news for me: Thanks to spanish import B3, i am now riding with the F2 boards.
